Now available to rent, the Blackmagic 4K 12G live event video switcher package - version 2. This one has Hyperdeck Mini recorders and players and includes the new 12G ATEM Television Production Studio 4K Pro hardware panel where you can mix input frame rates and data rates.

This kit includes:

This package is ideal for live events especially when video mixing to a big screen is required.
The kit will also work perfectly for 1080 and 720 HD live mixes too. Add our Teradeck Vidiu for live streaming your event to youtube or Facebook.  We can take out items as required from this kit or build another kit to match your requirements.

The version 2 replaces the Teranex unit with 2x Blackmagic Hyperdeck Studio Mini units. Each can record or playback up to 4K video, which can be used to incorporate footage into your live mix, or capture a live recording of the mix. You can do alpha cahnnel graphic overlays using the Hyperdeck mini which can be controlled directly from the ATEM.

The kit is supplied inside two flight cases and includes a power strip inside each case to allow you to power other kit. There is also a rack-mount ethernet switch in the back of the case to allow the ATEM to communicate with the Hyperdek minis (and power them over etheret) and allow you to connect in a Laptop controller. You can hire our Apple macbook pro if you need an ATEM controller for additional functionality like advanced audio mixing, adding and using stills and media players on the ATEM and as an additional switcher control. You will also need a computer connected to setup the ATEM communications with the Hyperdeck minis properly for trigggered playback as well as saving yor setups.

We also have a range of video cross converters available to convert different video feeds from HDMI to SDI and also SDI distribution.
