topic icon Boat Stories 'Fishing for the Long Haul' Film Completed

Mark has just finished the edit on our film for the Boat Stories project. The film, titled 'Fishing for the long haul?', follows the crew of the fishing trawler 'Sparkling Star' as they work in the Bristol Channel. This involved Mark spending over 30 hours aboard the boat filming the guys at work.

The film has since become more poignant. The crew often talk about sustaining fish stock levels and just before the film was released, the fishing industry was rocked by the news of fish quotas being met and hundreds have been laid off work.

For more information about the film and the state of the industry, visit boatstories.co.uk.
