topic icon Albion Plants grant film for North Devon +

This is the third of our films in partnership with North Devon + that showcase local businesses that benefited from a grant through the Leader 4 Programme. The grant was provided to businesses that wished to implement a green solution that would either improve or expand an existing green business.

This video features Albion Plants, a nursery based in Roborough, North Devon. They used the grant to build a new heated growing area which included piping heat from an existing wood chip boiler.

We travelled down out to Roborough to meet the owners Neil & Brenda and filmed inside the growing tunnels. We had a challenge as the rain was torrential and the sound on the tunnels made the interview difficult to record, but we won through in the end.
