topic icon Putsborough Holiday Cottage Films Updates

Back in 2015 we created short promotional films in and around three holiday cottages in the beautiful hamlet of Putsborough and a fourth in Croyde, North Devon.

Fast forward 4 years and we have been back to the cottages, taking photographs and new footage to update the videos after the cottages all received a paint job, new bathrooms and kitchens in some cases and a good refresh.

Rob, owner of the award winning Putsborough Beach, originally asked us to create promotional videos for his properties in Putsborough called The Anchorage & The Thatch Cottage and Manor Farm Cottage and The Reeds in nearby Croyde, whilst also capturing general scenic views on nice weather days.

We took advantage of the nice weather in June to get over to Putsborough. For the most part we only needed to film the inside of two cottages. However The Reeds and The Anchorage had also received a new paint job outside. We filmed over a couple of different weeks, necessitated by the need to work around holiday bookings in the cottages.

As an addition, Stu was also asked to take a walk up onto the cliffs above Putsborough to grab a wide angle photo encompassing the beach, beach cafe and the waves. This photo was required to decorate the side of a trailer that will advertise their sponsorship of a national cycling event which will pass through the area. The shortlisted pics were delivered to the signwriting company to get the transfer ready for application to the trailer.

The photos have all been edited and delivered to Robs web designer, who will use them to replace the older photos on the website - www.putsborough.com

The videos are now online. Check out the video for the Anchorage above and the rest will be below this lovely beach image taken by Stu for the trailer print.
