Here is the Maniac Films Visual Effects VFX show reel with a selection of shots we did this year for the Independent feature file Age of Kill (@ageofkill) staring a host of TV soap stars. We did over 40 visual effects shots on this film in 4K - a lot of 4K tracking shots using Mocha Pro coupled with After Effects work and some photoshop clean ups and compositing in FCP.
This showreel breakdown also has a couple of shots for We Still Kill the Old Way (@wsktow) and some older stuff from Vampire horror feature The Reverend using FCP7, Motion and Shake plus a few shots for forthcoming Independent virus/zombie feature Immune. There is a bit of gore and violence in some of these but hopefully the breakdowns show its not real! Enjoy.
We use a variety of tools for visual effects work including Adobe Photoshop, Mocha Pro, After Effects, Davinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro and Apple Motion and other 3D applications, plug ins and are constantly learning new techniques to perfect the art of visual effects.
