Our small wireless Directors monitor kit combines our DJI Transmission wireless video kit and Blackmagic 5 inch HDR monitor into a small handheld package which includes the of Smaller IDX Vlock Micro dual battery kit and HDMI and SDI video connection between the wireless video receiver and the 12G monitor.

Being able to monitor your shot plays a very important role in creative filmmaking, but sometimes if you are using a camera crane, jib, gimbal or steadicam or simply filming in a small space, it isn't practical to have another person stood next to the camera or to run a long cable.

This kit includes the DJI SDI Transmission wireless transmitter & receiver, 5" Blackmagic HDR monitor/recorder, IDX micro v-lock dual battery kit and any necessary cabling. We have also attached a spigot receiver to the base allowing it to sit on a short c-stand - ask us if you need a lightweight stand as an additional extra, we can add to your order for mounting the monitor.

The kit includes the necessary Vlock battery plate for the monitor, 2 x Blackmagic micro bnc connector to BNC female adapter cable, short or coiled BNC SDI cable, HDMI cable, removable sun hood.

The monitor itself has an SD card slot where you can record shots for safety or for a quick daily in a variety of codecs at HD size. We have SD cards available if needed.
