Available to hire now we have the Canon Eos 5D mk III DSLR full-frame sensor HD video DSLR kit with batteries and cards.
Following the success of the Canon 5D mkII, the 5D3 has taken the DSLR video technology to a new level, introducing more frame rate options, dedicated video buttons and settings and many other improvements over it's predecessor like HDR and lower light sensitivity. The canon 5D3 does not exhibit aliasing or Moire compared to other DSLRs like the Nikon D800, Canon 7D, 60D, 6D or 5D2.
The Canon 5D3 comes equipped with full size(FX) CMOS sensor, Full HD video at 24, 25 and 30P and 720p variable frame rate.

The Canon 5D mk III also features an optional new Intra-frame recording method, which processes/compresses each individual frame instead of batch processing. This offers a much sharper images but creates much larger files.
Canon have also increased the maximum recording time and using 2 card slots - you can now record continuously for 29m 59secs using both SD and CF cards

The 5D mk III has both HDMI and composite video out for external monitoring, and will accept a powered external microphone for improved sound. Combine it with our Redrock DSLR kit for the ultimate shooting kit.

The Canon 5D mk III has now been updated to make the HDMI video output uncompressed! This means that you can record a high quality clean video signal from the camera into an external recorder - vastly improving on the internal recording quality and also increasing record times.

Combine with our Atomos Samurai recorder and HDMI-SDI converter to get Prores HQ recording for higher quality and easier editing.

The Canon 5D mkIII (Body Only) will be shipped with a camera backpack inside a Peli case for safety and easy storage.

This camera requires lenses to operate. These lenses must have a Canon EOS mount - either built in or via an adapter. All of our EF mount lenses on this site are compatible with the EOS mount system.
