The SmallRig cage/sunhood is the ideal companion for the Blackmagic Video Assist 4K monitor/recorder.
The monitor fits snugly inside the cage, keeping it protected. Meanwhile the cage has been designed to allow access to all connectors and buttons.

The sunhood attaches using velcro straps so it is easily removed if required when shooting indoors.
The cage/sunhood is supplied as standard with the Video Assist monitor. We have different Smallrig cages to fit the 5 inch and 7 inch monitors.
