The DSLR quick release rod mount Baseplate provides the foundation for support setups around video and still digital SLRs. This baseplate is lightweight, very low profile, and can be used to connect standard 15mm rods (60mm spacing) to the bottom of any DSLR and with many Canon and Nikon DSLRs will allow a rod mounted matte box to line up corectly with the lens.
