topic icon DCP & final VFX for Eating Miss Campbell for Frightfest

We have been busy finishing off the last couple of visual effects clean ups on Liam Regans dark horror comedy feature Eating Miss Campbell in time for its world premier screening at Frightfest 2022. We have been working on a lot of VFX and cleanups on Eating Miss Cambell this year - (see our other articles on talking severed heads and gunfire for EMC) and a bit of colour grading and plenty of re-working of subtitles (dont trust Fiver for a complete job!).

The final stage was for us to incorporate new 5.1 surround stems from Liam and build a 2K DCP for the screening and a new 4K Prores master.

All Lives Matter! Cleaning up the gory overlay in Eating Miss Campbell using the patch replacer in Davinci Resolve

This is the second film we have worked on for Liam Regan - after the incredible amount of VFX and cleanups and re-grading we did on My Bloody Banjo, EMC was a breeze! This is also the second of Liams film featuring a cameo from Lloyd Kaufman of Troma Team - they liked Banjo so much they have been involved in producing Eating Miss Campbell.
