Hire our Losmandy Porta-Jib, ideal for use with both light and heavy cameras, giving a professional and dynamic look every time!
The Losmandy Porta-Jib has been designed to carry up to 100 lbs. (45kg) of camera and a fluid head in the standard configuration. If you are using the 36" extension arm the maximum weight drops to 45Lbs (20kg)
Assembles in less than 5 minutes. No tools required unless changing the head bowl from 150mm to 100mm or vice versa (Allen key is required).
This can be used with our Sachtler 150mm bowl head, or any other 150mm bowl head on the market. We now have a 100mm bowl attachment too so it can be used with our Sachtler Video 18 MKIII head as well for lighter weight setups.
The base has a flat plate that will sit on a 150mm bowl mount. This will allow the Jib to be mounted on our Sachtler DA 150L tripod or onto any other 150mm bowl head tripod.
The base is fitted with the Losmandy 3-way leveller. This allows you to level the jib without moving the tripod legs. Rather than trying to move the legs, which is difficult with a fully loaded jib, especially with the foot of the tripod locked into place on the dolly, you can now simply make the levelling adjustment at the base of the jib.
The kit now includes a 36" extension arm, allowing you to increase the vertical boom reach of your shot by almost 1.5m. See the chart below for more details.
Boom and pan lock included. The kit also includes a Vector balance bar, 7 lbs. (3.2kg), 3-way leveller to allow levelling of the jib without needing to adjust the tripod legs, fine tuning weight and 50 lbs. (20kg) of counter weights.
Reach: See table and image below for specs.
