topic icon Comedy short filming in London

Stu has been in London, filming a satirical comedy short with Ross, better known by his comedian stage persona Professor Jack Darcy.

Stu was filming at the famous Reform Club in London, former drinking club of Winston Churchill.
He was working on sound and was joined on set by Matt & Jason, who took care of camera & lighting. Also on set was the producer Fleur.

The crew were in this fantasticly lavish setting to film short satirical piece about Donald Trump, which will appear online soon.
After shooting was wrapped at the Reform Club, the crew took to the streets of London to film extra cutaway shots in front of major landmarks.

Footage was captured using a Blackmagic camera, LED lighting and a Ronin-S gimbal for walking shots. Filming went well, despite a few issues with building work in the basement making so much noise that the windows rattled and the final shots look (and sound) great!

The footage will be edited in house by Maniac Films and the final piece should be online soon!
