Available for hire - the Rycote Pistol grip shock mount for shotgun microphones like the NTG2 or NTG3 but is is suitable for shotgun microphones from 19-34 mm in diameter - works well for our Rode NTG2 and NTG3 shotgun microphones, Sennheiser ME66 and Azden mics.

The pistol grip has a built-in XLR grip which can hold cable connectors securely to minimise cable strain. This grip comes with no XLR cables, so please add these to your order separately.

The handle has a brass 3/8" female thread attachment for use on boom poles or mic stands.

This shock mount can be used as a simple pistol grip for close up handheld operation whilst shielding the mic pickup from vibrations and mechanical pickup but also on the end of a boom pole for long reach booming of your shotgun microphone.
