An update to our lightweight HDMI monitor, the Marshall HD LCD field 7" monitor, (V-LCD70XHB-HDMIPT) features a much brighter screen which is more effective in outdoor situations. It also features HDMI loop-though.
This lightweight monitor has HDMI, component and composite video inputs. It is packed with features including Focus Assist, False colour filter, (see below) pixel-pixel mapping, screen markers plus more advanced features.
The monitor can display a range of formats - PAL/NTSC 480i/p, 576i/p, 720p, 1035i, 1080i and vesa pc formats to XGA (1024x768). This monitor is ideal for DSLR shoots on Nikon or Canon cameras.
It is powered by V-lock batteries via a plate on the back (supplied separately) or via the supplied mains XLR4 cable.
This monitor can also be powered via a d-tap cable from a camera or powered camera rig. This is a lighter option if mounting the monitor onto a camera or rig. See our d-tap option here for information - D-tap Marshall Monitor
Note: when using monitors with a Canon video DSLR, we advise that you read this article on the video output properties of the camera.
The Marshall monitor is supplied with a fitted V-lok plate, HDMI cable, mains power supply, Portabrace rain cover/sunhood with robust neck strap and is delivered inside a foam padded Peli hard case.
Note: This monitor is not supplied with batteries (as so many of our customers already have v-lok batteries). If you require batteries we recommend our IDX charger and 2 battery kit - see more options for individual batteries and chargers in our V-lock Batteries section
