Shannon Trust Learn to Read DVD authoring Rebrand

At the start of 2021, we produced two DVD boxsets for the Shannon Trust, a national charity supporting thousands of prisoners a year, helping them to transform their lives by unlocking the power of reading.

Due to the current Covid-19 crisis, the trust have been unable to safely send volunteers into prisons to help those who illiterate to learn to read. So they are trialled a DVD box set, which when used with workbooks provided to the prisoners, would help them to achieve their reading goals.

We helped the trust to create two 3-disc box-sets for their Turning Pages programme, each of which would be sent to students alongside a paper manual as part of a trial run.

The trial has been very successful and we ahve now been asked to re-design the cover and disc artwork to fit their new branding and produce 1000 copies for the official, full launch of the DVD programme.

As before Stu designed simple but effective menus of the three discs (Simple uncluttered menus were essential to make it easier to read for those who are just learning). These were then delivered to Mark for the final disc builds.
Stu also designed a cover for the DVD box and also three simple, branded DVD on-body prints which were sent straight to the duplication house for printing.

If you have a film and need help getting it onto DVD or Blu-ray, get in touch with us at Maniac Films or check out our DVD & Blu-ray services page for more information.
