SAS beach litter awareness film / raffle prize

Iin 2007, Laura Floyd and Laura Palmer who won the 2007 Surfers Against Sewage (sas) raffle prize and got to come over to Croyde Bay for some surfing and to learn a bit more about beach litter. Well they finally made their way up to Croyde to claim their prize.

We teamed up with Wavedreamer, extremeboardshots, Baggy Lodge and Pointbreaks Watersports to make sure the girls had a great weekend and filmed them as part of the raffle prize - making a short video to raise awareness of beach litter and marine pollution and to highlight the great work SAS do, campaigning for clean and safe recreational waters for everyone. Special thanks to Matt from Artaura for helping out on the day.

The film was edited by our 6-week palcement student Kirsten - although she was quite unsure of herself at first - "I kind of 'forced' Kirsten over her fear of editing and i think she has done a great job editing the video" said Mark Brindle.
