'Before I Go' short film wins Audience Choice Award

Back in July this year (2017) we hired an Outdoors Location Audio Kit to Scott Stevens which was to be used on the shoot for his new short film 'Before I Go'.

We have just found out that the film won the 'Audience Choice' award at the Two Short Nights film festival in Exeter - a huge well done to Scott and his team! We are always happy to see that our kit is being used on projects that do well and propel the creators onto bigger & better things!

'Before I Go' was written & directed by Scott himself and was funded using Kickstarter. Here is a brief synopsis:
Michael has just received a diagnosis of dementia and, as he is struggling to comprehend this change, he turns to his childhood imaginary friend to confide in and to help him accept his new future.

You can check out the official trailer at the top of the page or by visiting Vimeo: 'Before I Go - Vimeo trailer'

The film was also supported by the Exeter Phoenix as Scot was awarded the Exeter Phoenix’s Short Film Commission (a scheme set up to help emerging talents). As the film explores the tough subject of dementia, Scott will also be donating 5% of the Kickstarter proceeds to a dementia charity.
