BDCMF for LABO 20th anniversary release

Since 2001, the Lab Competition of the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival has given prominence to visionary, avant-garde and (re)inventor filmmakers. Every year, this completely offbeat selection takes teh audience by surprise and shakes up a cinematic landscape based on its achievements. Experimental playground, unbridled animation puzzles, cerebral agitations... In the Lab our world is questioned, dissected, reassembled, transformed, in order to bring out completely new, free and surprising perceptions.

With 20 years of experience, this unique competition has not yet reached its limits! In partnership with Autour de Minuit publishing, Lab is releasing an anthology of 20 of its best films in a Blu-Ray box with a 52-page booklet packed with illustrations and bonuses (available with the digital version)!

To help with this, we were contacted by the organisers to convert their finished Blu-ray master into the BDCMF format which is required for Blu-ray replication in the factory. The master was delivered digitally and after converting it in our specialised software, we returned the BDCMF master back to the client for final production.

If you need to create a BDCMF Blu-ray replication master or need a DCP for a festival screening, maybe you need help with DVD authoring or captions created for your film, then please get in touch with us to discuss your requirements.
