This is a precision light weight Boom Pole machined from high grade aluminium. It has a standard 3/8 thread to fit most microphones. A secure twist locking action allows you to quickly extend it to the desired length.
The boom pole os supplied complete with some velcro straps to help keep the mic cable out of shot and it's even possible to remove both ends and thread an XLR plug all the way through the centre of the pole if you have one thin enough to fit through the top screw mount hole.

The boom can be used with standard shockmount or mic holder, or our larger Zeppelin wind protection system like the Rode Blimp 2.
