The V-Lock CA4X Battery plate adaptor is supplied with a Power-Con (DTAP/PTAP) output that is fully regulated to 12Volts. This regulated output can be used to power any 12V piece of equipment up to a maximum power of 50Watts. Sometimes useful if you need more DTAP or some Hirose connections on your camera and your existing Vlock plate doesnt have enough.

The high quality regulator fitted, will act as a "soft start" when using tungsten lamps (50W Max).  This will stop Li-Ion batteries from shutting down due to the power-up requirements of a cold filament. This unit is used with all V-lock batteries.
