Hire this Neutral Density 4x4inch (100mm) glass filter to control the exposure and depth of field for DSLRs like Canon 7D, Canon 5D Mkiii and Blackmagic cinema camera (BMCC). This high quality Formatt HD ND0.6 glass 4x4 filter is designed to cut the amount of light entering a lens and is designed for High Definition video use.

This ND0.6 filter produces the equivalent of 2 stops of light reduction and can be coupled in a two stage mattebox with other ND filters to give you a variety of exposure control whilst maintaining your shutter speed for video shooting. Add a 0.3ND or a 0.9 for a wider range of control.

Neutral density glass filters (also known as ND filters) produce a neutral tone without affecting colour or contrast. ND filters are especially useful in bright light conditions to avoid overexposure and allow you to set your aperture wide open for shallow DOF even in bright outdoor lighting conditions.

Combine with this two stage Vocas MB-250 matte box or one of our other 4x4 matte boxes for the ultimate light control solution. The 4x4 filters can be used in any matte box that takes 4x4 inch or 100mm square fiters. Fit them in a non rotating or rotating stage as they work equally well.
