Filming an online training course with Absolute Dogs

Despite being based on a farm near Okehampton, Dog training specialist AbsoluteDogs have gained a worldwide online following with students across the globe. Part of this success is because of their online training courses and popular web series.

We have been filming with the team from Absolute Dogs to produce a brand new online training course. The course will contain 21 different modules to help dog owners to create their perfect dog.

Filming was completed within just one day with two cameras running simultaneously. We used the new Blackmagic Mini-Ursa with the lovely Canon 18-80 Cine Zoom lens for the primary camera, and the Blackmagic Ursa 4K for low angle close-ups on the dogs. We also used the Sony a7s II on the DJI Ronin-M gimbal for any outdoor moving shots.

Due to some rather unpleasant weather we shot most of the videos indoors, and for the shots/activities that required more space, we moved out to the large barn which is used for dog training classes.

We will edit the various section together to create 21 individual films  which will then be delivered to the Absolute Dogs team for uploading when required.
